Our Amazing Human Body Theme Pack
What could be more important to understand than our own bodies? Children love to learn about how their bodies work and all the amazing (and sometimes gross) processes! This pack contains oodles of articles about bones, blood, digestion, and other body systems, as well as interesting features about staying well and life-altering research. Children will also compare their own bodies with those of some unusual animals and learn how all life forms depend on complex systems to live and grow.
Our Amazing Human Body focuses on the Dimensions and Disciplinary Core Ideas: LS1 From Molecules to Organisms: Structure and Processes, LS3 Heredity: Inheritance and Variation of Traits, and numerous Practices and Crosscutting Concepts as described in the Next Generation Science Standards.
